From coffee dates to get to know us, to sending us some love in the mail leading up to our wedding day, they are intentional about creating a special experience for couples. On the day of our wedding, they made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which allowed us to focus on each other in our most intimate moments. “Absolutely could not have been better. From the outset, we knew we wanted photo and video for our wedding, and were surprised at how uncommon this was. Nearly all the photographers we reached out to could recommend separate videographers, but did not personally offer video. The Augusts are a real treasure. Having a photographer and videographer who work hand-in-hand was already amazing, but for it to be a husband-and-wife duo? They were as in-sync as could be expected. Our video and photography experience felt completely comfortable and fun, and of course the results speak for themselves. Our photos, ceremony video, and highlight video are absolutely incredible keepsakes. I find myself looking for every excuse to show them off to people. “Rebekah and Jonah were so fun to work with and very professional. They are both extremely talented, we have a gallery of really beautiful photos. When I first saw the photos it was like we where re-living each moment, so much emotion was captured in the shots because they were just real moments. We were able to just be ourselves and have fun on our wedding day and looking back on these photos will be so special. Jonah created the most amazing video, it looks like a movie. I knew I really wanted a video, however I was so nervous it would be cheesey and it made me hesitant. However, When looking at their work I fell in love with the style. The video is absolutely amazing. It is not like anything I have seen before. It is more than I could have wished for and there are so many small details in it that really captured the day. Every time we watch it, it brings us right back to our wedding day. On the day of our elopement it felt like we were with people we have known before and we felt so comfortable and had so much fun. “Where do we even begin?! What an absolute joy it was having The Augusts be our videographers for our special wedding day. Rebekah and Jonah made us feel completely at ease from day one and went above and beyond to make our wedding vision come to light through the art of film. We had so many of our friends and family comment on how awesome the two of them were and I think that alone speaks volumes. The final product? “If anyone out there is reading this review and you're freaking out about who you're going to hire for your wedding/engagement, calm down and look no further! You can stop searching because you've found the perfect team. Once upon a time, I was scouring the Internet to find reputable photographers/videographers to capture our wedding day when I just happened upon The Augusts website in a simple Google search. These two were absolutely incredible to work with. The very first thing they do is they schedule a meeting with you to get to know you and your partner. From there, they get an idea of what you're looking for. By the time you've spoken to them at this stage, you're already convinced you made the right choice. As for the actual filming and photoshoots, they made the entire experience so relaxed and fun, it felt more like we were hanging out with a pair of beloved friends who just happened to be filming us. They were sweet, funny and easy to talk to! As for the work they produce, get ready for some glorious, award-winning results. The actual photos and films they produce are cinema-worthy.
