Can you photoshop us?
We want to promote self confidence, body positivity and self love so we don’t like to alter the way you look in photoshop aside from editing out short term blemishes or bruises. If there is something in particular that you are self conscious about, let us know and we will take note for when we’re posing you!

Do you require a deposit to book?
Yes, we do. A deposit of 25% of the overall package is required to reserve your wedding date. The remaining 75% is due 3 weeks before your wedding. Payment plans are available as well.

Are you a family photographer?
No. I strictly only shoot couples and weddings. This entails maternity couple shoots, engagement shoots, vow renewals, proposals, anniversary, just because couple shoots, weddings and elopements.
If you are a past wedding client of ours, we are happy to continue to document you as your family grows!

How many photographers/videographers will be there?
Jonah and I are a photo and video duo team and when we are shooting weddings we prefer to work alone. Jonah is very used to filming weddings alone and I am trained as a solo photographer. If you hire us for just photography or just videography, it’s possible that the other will tag along to assist.
If you have hired our associate team to document your day we will communicate clearly the number of shooters that you need/want for your big day!

What is your turnaround time? How many images will I receive?
We will deliver your wedding gallery and film anytime between 8-12 weeks. We'll always give you a sneak peek the day or a couple days after your wedding! Typically we deliver 60-80 images per hour of coverage for weddings or elopements. For engagement shoots, you’ll receive around 150-200 images.

What if I am awkward in front of a camera?
That’s okay!! Most people aren’t used to being in front of a camera (us included) and we understand the importance of casual direction & creating an atmosphere where you feel like you can be yourself. All you have to do is show up with your partner, leave the rest to us. You’ll walk away feeling like a runway model..or something close to it!

Where are you based out of? Do you Travel?
We are based out of Chilliwack, British Columbia but shoot mainly in Vancouver, Vancouver Island, the Okanagan and the Shuswap. We are also available for destination or weddings abroad. Contact us to view our destination wedding packages.

Do you have formal education?
Yes! I went to Langara in Vancouver and graduated in the Spring of 2018 from their professional photography diploma program. Jonah is trained in audio engineering and music production and graduated from SAE institute with a diploma in the spring of 2018. Though he doesn’t work in the music industry, his audio and sound design skills are greatly useful when working with filmmaking. Audio is such a key element of a wedding film and you can be sure he will have that down!
We are constantly learning from our mentors, online workshops, and fellow photography/videography friends. We have a strong desire to consistently be growing in our skills and creative intuition.

Do you have an associate team?
Yes. We have a small and curated team of photographers and videographers who shoot weddings for us. The files from the wedding are then handed to us and we do all of the editing and post production. If you are wanting to learn more about this option, please reach out!

What is your backup process?
We’ve heard too many horror stories of lost/damaged/corrupted SD/CF cards and this just isn’t something we’re okay with risking. We backup all of our files immediately after weddings to at least 3 separate external hard drives and leave the files on the cards until your wedding gallery is delivered. (thats at least 5 backups)! We also have a cloud based storage system that all of our projects go onto immediately.

You bet we are!
